Vive! French operates this website, our courses and La Communauté Vive!, a private French-learning community. You can reach us at vivefrenchlearning@gmail.com.

When you send us a note we receive the name, email address, starting point and message you enter in the form. If you arrive here from an advertisement, we also receive which campaign or search term brought you to this page.

We also receive the basic technical information your browser sends to any website, such as your device type, approximate location by country and the pages you view on this site.

To reply to your enquiry, to point you to the course that fits, to keep a record if you enrol, and to understand which of our advertisements send us the right people. We do not sell your details or rent them to anyone.

This site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to measure how our pages perform. If you arrived from a Google advertisement, Google may set cookies on your device to measure conversions, under Google's own privacy policy. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and you can turn off personalised advertising through Google's Ads Settings.

We use a small number of service providers to run this site and the community: a website hosting provider, an email provider, and Mighty Networks, which hosts La Communauté Vive! and our courses. They may process your details only on our instructions. We may also share information where the law requires it.

If you send a note and do not enrol, we keep it for up to 24 months and then delete it. If you enrol in a course or join the community, we keep your records for as long as you are with us and for as long as we are required to keep financial records.

You can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them, by writing to vivefrenchlearning@gmail.com. If you are in California, you also have the right to know what we collect and to ask that we do not sell it — we do not sell personal information.

This site and our courses are designed for adults. They are not intended for anyone under 18.

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
